Exhibition Latvian Architecture Award 2017 shows 18 nominees for the Latvian Architecture Award 2017, which is the main annual architectural competition in Latvia organised by Latvian Architects Union.

Exhibition will be opened on 13th of September 15:00 at Telliskivi Creative City (outdoors). 

This year the prize was given the 22nd time. The winners were chosen by International Jury. Members of this year jury were founder of Atelier Bow-Wow Yoshiharu Tsukamoto, partner at Henning Larsen Architects Jacob Kurek, architect and theorist Tomas Grunskis and founder of the office SALTO, Maarja Kask. Their decision was to give the Grand Prix to Shaolin Flying Monks theatre in China designed by architect Austris Mailītis.
International jury enlightened the decision: “This inspiring art, architecture and landscape project which works beyond borders and countries, connecting different cultures, traditions and technologies into a beautiful fairytale is created by devoted and visionary mindset.”
